This biography for year 5 and P6, linking to the topic forces, reveals the amazing life of Leonardo da Vinci. Not only was he a famous artist, he was also a brilliant engineer who loved science. He loved inventing things and came up with all sorts of ideas such as a mechanical flying machine, a giant bridge spanning over 200 meters and a steam-powered cannon!
