Flower power: an information text

This information text for Year 3 and P4, linking to the topics plantsand Biodiversity and interdependence, explains how a flower is the part of a plant that produces and receives pollen in order to develop fruit and seeds. It explains that annual plants produce flowers and die after one season, biennials last two years and perennials flower year after year. The text includes a diagram showing the ways in which a flower gets a bee or butterfly to pollinate it.
