How plants transport water

A practical activity for year 3 and P4 linking with the topics plants and biodiversity and interdependence. Ask your class if they think water can ‘walk’, then show them a nifty experiment to prove that it actually can move! Pupils will set up their own experiments using water, kitchen towels and food colouring to see how plants transport water.
