Interview with a bioengineer

An interview with a bioengineer for year 3 and P4, linking to the topic forces. Professor Rory Cooper runs a laboratory that creates new technologies to help people with disabilities. In this interview, he talks about his newest invention, the PneuChair, which is an electric powered wheelchair. What makes this wheelchair special is; it’s much lighter, it’s powered entirely by compressed air and it’s completely submersible in water. This means it can be used in pools and water parks and other places that children would not be able to visit in an electric wheelchair.
