The Great Fire of London

This text for year 2 and P3 linking to the topics Everyday materials and Properties and uses of substances, describes how the city of London was destroyed by fire and then rebuilt by science. Scientists Robert Hooke and Sir Christopher Wren were responsible for building the monument that stands in London today to commemorate the Great Fire Of London. What most people don’t know is they built a secret science lab inside it!
